UK: Annual GDP expands 0.6% in Q1, as expected

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - On an annual basis UK GDP grew 0.6% in Q1, up from the 0.2% rise registered the previous quarter, according to data released today by National Statistics. This result is in line with expectations.

On a quarterly basis Q1 GDP edged up 0.3%, compared with the 0.3% drop in Q4, as expected.
