Commodities lower in the Asia-Pacific

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Commodities overall are heading lower in the Asia-Pacific following a flat day given major US markets remained closed over holiday.

Catching up on recent USD strength across the board, Gold is currently at fresh session lows $1244, while Silver dips below the $19.40 level from session highs around $19.64.

Oil also eases to session lows at $100.80, off session highs at $101.40, practically unchanged for last 24 hours.

AUD/USD holding above 1H 20SMA around 0.9130

The AUD/USD foreign exchange rate is last trading at 0.9139, off recent session lows at 0.9130, posted on the back of Shanghai index opening lower -0.6%.
