EUR/USD neutral near-term – BTMU

FXStreet (Edinburgh) - Analysts at BTMU reiterated its neutral stance on EUR/USD for the upcoming week.

Key Quotes

“The euro has continued to rebound against the US dollar in the near-term supported by both a reversal in US dollar strength and an adjustment higher in euro-zone yields”.

“The US dollar is likely to remain on the defensive in the near-term although with weakness already appearing overdone the scope for further downside may prove more limited”.

“With the euro, market interest rates and the price of crude oil all rebounding the euro-zone economy may begin to lose some upward momentum. The release of the latest PMI surveys in the week ahead will provide a further signal of growth momentum in Q2”
