Eurozone trade surplus narrowed to EUR 18.8 billion in June
FXStreet (Mumbai) - The official data released on Thursday showed the Eurozone trade surplus narrowed to EUR 18.8 billion in May from EUR 24.3 billion in April.
Exports of goods to the rest of the world in May 2015 was EUR 164.4 billion, an increase of 3% compared with May 2014 (EUR 160.2 bn). Imports from the rest of the world stood at EUR 145.6 bn, nearly stable compared with May 2014 (EUR 145.5 bn).
The Eurozone recorded a surplus of EUR 94.9 bn in January-May 2015, compared with EUR 60.2 bn in January-May 2014.
Exports of goods to the rest of the world in May 2015 was EUR 164.4 billion, an increase of 3% compared with May 2014 (EUR 160.2 bn). Imports from the rest of the world stood at EUR 145.6 bn, nearly stable compared with May 2014 (EUR 145.5 bn).
