Canada August Ivey Purchasing Managers Index up to 51.9 vs 45.7 in July

Chicago Fed President Charles Evans signalized today that the central bank could begin tapering its bond purchases later this year, but he did not specify when exactly could that happen. He also added that interest rates would remain close to zero for at least two more years.
