ECB Nowotny says QE extension is thinkable
FXStreet (Córdoba) - ECB Governing Council member Ewald Nowotny said that an extension to the QE programme is thinkable. However, he declined to provide any details.
In comments to Die Presse, he also said that low euro-area inflation is "big problem for the ECB".
The European Central Bank current programme totals €60 billion of asset purchases per month and is set to expire in September 2016.
