Canada: CPI rose 1.0% YoY in March

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Canadian consumer prices rose 1.0% on a year to March, missing expectations at 1.1%. On a monthly basis prices rose 0.2%, vs. 0.3% expected.

The Bank of Canada Core CPI rose 1.4% over the last twelve months, banging on estimates. On a monthly basis, core prices rose 0.2% vs. forecasts at 0.3% and February’s 0.7%.

Canada: Wholesale Sales rose 0.4% in February

Statistics Canada informed that Wholesale Sales came in flat during February, missing the median at 0.4% and down from January’s 0.5%.
