UK's Frost: EU's stance may limit progress we can make next week

"We will negotiate with the EU constructively but the EU's stance may, realistically, limit the progress we can make next week," the UK's chief Brexit negotiator David Frost said on Friday, as reported by Reuters.

"From the very beginning, we have been clear about what we can accept in these areas of state aid and fisheries," Frost noted. "We have scheduled lots of time for discussions, as we should at this point in the talks."

The GBP/USD pair largely ignored these comments and was last seen losing 0.27% on a daily basis at 1.3243.
